I Suck At Street Photography | Episode 4 | Black Lives Matter Protest Melbourne POV

Welcome back to I suck at street photography, a new and poorly made POV YouTube series about trying to improve my poor street photography by getting out and shooting more. I’m tired of coming home with shots I’m not super proud of, so join me in this weekly POV series where I intend on doing my best at improving.

In solidarity with the protests around the world, it was Melbourne’s turn on June 6th.

I shot this episode with the Leica M9 and the Minolta 28mm M-Rokkor, which I love dearly. The M-Rokkor is ancient in terms of lenses and the M9 is ancient in terms of digital cameras: a perfect match!

Join me every week for more POV, street and general horrible content. Thanks for reading and watching.

I've been taking terrible street shots on and off since around 2014. I started this site in a attempt to better understand the process of photography and write about it at the same time. While I’m obsessed with gear like pretty much all photography nerds, I’m also obsessed with good photographs that make us feel something. I hoping that through this site my photography will develop into something that makes you feel something (other than complete disappointment, of course).
